Vikavolt is a dual-type Bug/Electric Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Charjabug when leveled up in a special magnetic field (in Generation VII) or when exposed to a Thunder Stone (in Generation VIII). It is the final form of Grubbin. 1. Vikavolt is a beetle like Pokemon with a large pair of mandibles.
2. Its small orange face has robotic, yellow eyes and is covered by a blue carapace.
3. The mandibles extend from this helmet.
4. They are blue on the inner surface and yellow on the outer surface.
5. At the base of each mandible is a large spike and the inside is lined with short spikes.
6. Its body is black and divided into three sections by yellow rings.
7. The last two sections have a yellow spot on each side.
8. On its back is a pair of wide, flat wings that are transparent with blue wing covers.
9. It has four legs; the front pair of legs has two claws, while the back pair has only one.
10. Vikavolt produces electricity with an organ in its abdomen and controls it with its huge jaws to fire powerful electric beams.
11. When it clasps a Charjabug in its legs, it is able to utilize it as an extra battery.
12. This allows it to continue firing powerful attacks. However, during fierce aerial fights, it will release Charjabug to make itself lighter and more mobile.
13. It is an adept flier, capable of acrobatic maneuvers such as tailspins and sharp turns.
14. Even as it weaves through complicated tangles of branches in the forest, it is able to maintain high-speed flight.
15. It is known to have a rivalry with Pinsir and Heracross.

17. Vikavolt debuted in Evolving Research!, when Sophocles’s Charjabug evolved into it at Vast Poni Canyon.
18. A Shiny Vikavolt appeared in A High-Speed Awakening!, under the ownership of Horacio, having evolved from his Charjabug at Vast Poni Canyon. It was entered in the Vikavolt race, where it went up against Sophocles’s Vikavolt and other Trainers’ Vikavolt, but lost.
19. Multiple Trainers’ Vikavolt appeared in Aiming for the Top Floor!, where they took part in the Vikavolt race. They included those belonging to De Rosa and Team Electric Princess. They were later targeted by Team Rocket. Some of the Vikavolt reappeared in a flashback in A Fiery Training Camp Trick!.
20. Vikavolt shares its category with Pinsir. They are both known as the Stag Beetle Pokémon.
21. Vikavolt has the highest base Special Attack stat of all Bug-type Pokémon.
