24 Fascinating And Interesting Facts About Tangela From Pokemon

Tangela is a Grass type Pokemon introduced in Generation I. It evolves into Tangrowth when leveled up while knowing Ancient Power. Take a look below for 24 fascinating and interesting facts about Pokemon.

1. Tangela is a Pokemon covered by blue, seaweed-like veins that obscure its face.

2. There is a small opening in the vines that reveals its eyes surrounded by a black space.

3. The vines give Tangela a round shape, but it is unknown what it looks like without them. 

4. Its vines are covered in fine hair and are always growing.

5. If damaged or lost, replacements are grown. 

6. There is a pair of red boot-like feet poking out from under the vines, but no visible arms.

7. Tangela can ensnare and entangle anything that moves too close to it with its vines.

8. The vines constantly jiggle and sway, unnerving enemies and causing a tickling sensation if ensnared.

9. Tangela’s vines will snap off easily and painlessly if the target pulls on them, so it can quickly escape.

18. A Tangela appeared in Pokémon Scent-sation!, under the ownership of Erika. It was used during Ash’s Gym battle against her. It is a strong Pokémon that manages to use its vines and Stun Spore in order to incapacitate the opponent. In its battle against Ash, it managed to take out Bulbasaur by using this combination. Erika then recalled Tangela when Ash sent out his Charmander. Erika’s Tangela also appeared in I Choose You!, which is set in an alternate continuity of the main series; it was seen battling Pikachu but was defeated.

19. A Tangela appeared in Gulpin it Down, under the ownership of an Officer Jenny. It was used in addition to her Meganium and Parasect during an effort to stop the massive army of Gulpin that was rioting around the town.

20. A Tangela appeared in Pokémon Scent-sation! as one of the Pokémon in the Celadon Gym, separate from the one Erika kept as one of her battling Pokémon.
