Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge, born May 15, 1982, is an American actress and photographer. She began her career with supporting roles in the teen comedy movies Big Fat Liar and She’s the Man. She later played reporter Willa McPherson in the series Dirt, and had a supporting role on the short-lived series The Ex List.

1. Breckenridge is the voice of various characters on the animated television series Family Guy.

2. She starred in the first season of FX’s American Horror Story: Murder House as young Moira O’Hara, and portrayed Kaylee in the third season of American Horror Story: Coven.

3. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us.

4. Breckenridge was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

5. She lived in Darien, Connecticut until the age of 10, when she and her mother moved to Los Angeles.

6. A year after moving to Los Angeles, they moved to Mill Valley, California.

7. At the age of 13, Breckenridge became interesting in acting, photography and singing.

8. When she was 15 years old, she and her mother moved back to Los Angeles to pursue Breckenridge’s acting career.

9. Breckenridge is the niece of actor Michael Weatherly.

10. She was cast as the lead in Mystery Girl, a UPN pilot for the 2004 to 2005 season which wasn’t picked up.

11. She filmed a scene in the movie The Jacket, which ended up on the cutting room floor.

12. Breckenridge is an avid photographer. Her work has been featured in several Los Angeles galleries.

13. She has several tattoos on her body. However, they get covered by make-up for her on-screen projects, but not during photoshoots.

14. She’s good friends with Family Guy co-star and creator Seth MacFarlane.

15. In September 2015, Breckenridge married guitarist Casey Hooper. In September 2016, she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son. In August 2017, they announced that they were expecting their second child; their daughter was born in December 2017.

16. Breckenridge guest starred as Shelly Weaver on Freaks and Geeks in 2000.

17. When she was 15 years old, she met James Franco at an audition. She was surprised that Franco recognized her on the set of Freaks and Geeks.

18. She guest starred on Dawson’s Creek, CSI, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Undeclared, Medium and JAG.

19. Breckenridge had a recurring role in season four of HBO’s True Blood, and also in season one of FX’s American Horror Story as Moira O’Hara, the ghost of a maid trapped in the house in which she was employed.

20. In 2015, she co-starred in the psychological thriller Dark from executive producer Joe Dante and director Nick Basile.

21. In 2017, Breckenridge appeared in the recurring role of Sophie, Kate’s childhood friend and Kevin’s ex-wife, on the first season of NBC drama series This Is Us; she was promote to the full-time cast for the series’ second season.
