Sealeo is a dual type Ice and Water Pokemon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Spheal starting at level 32 and evolves into Walrein starting at level 44. Take a look below for 23 fun and fascinating facts about Sealeo.
1. Sealeo is a bright blue, pinniped Pokemon.
2. Its throat and chest are beige with speckling around the edges.
3. There are two short tusks protruding from its upper jaw, and it has dark brown, oval eyes.
4. It has a powerful pair of front flippers, which are able to crush ice.
5. Additionally, it has a short, flipper-like tail.
6. On the sides of its blunt muzzle are thick, white whiskers.
7. When it encounters new objects, they are placed on its nose and rolled around to test its smell and texture.
8. It has also been known to roll Spheal on its nose.
9. Sealeo is capable of coating its body in ice and rolling to use its former signature move, Ice Ball.
10. This Pokémon lives in the sea, and dives underwater to hunt for prey five times a day.

12. Sealeo is a combination of sea or seal and leo (Latin for lion, referring to a seal’s relation to sea lions).
13. Sealeo debuted alongside its pre-evolution at the Oceanic Museum in Slateport City in The Spheal of Approval. It was owned by Captain Stern, who sent it out to battle Team Magma and their three Mightyena.
14. The Sootopolis Gym Leader Juan used a Sealeo in his Gym battle against Ash in The Great Eight Fate!. Sealeo battled against Snorunt and Pikachu alongside Seaking and managed to defeat Snorunt but were defeated by Pikachu and Corphish.
15. A Sealeo appeared in Up Close and Personable!. It was among the many Pokémon that were found at the lake by the Pokémon Summer Academy. Angie stumbled across it with Ash and decided to draw a sketch of it.
16. Multiple Sealeo appeared in Destiny Deoxys alongside Spheal and Walrein. They were startled by the crash-landing of an asteroid containing two Deoxys and fled, traumatizing Tory Lund in the process.
