Eelektross is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Eelektrik when exposed to a Thunder Stone. It is the final form of Tynamo. Take a look below for 21 awesome and fun facts about Eelektross.
1. Eelektross is an eel like Pokemon that resembles a lamprey, with a long tentacle like, finned limb extending form its head.
2. It has red eyes, dark blue body, and possesses clawed, paddle-like arms with yellow spots and yellow-and-red palms.
3. It has a beige fin on the upper portion of its body and beige fin-like legs below.
4. It lives in the ocean, but it comes ashore to capture prey.
5. It can use its arms to crawl out of the ocean and its sucker mouth to suck in prey.
6. After latching onto its prey using its sucker mouth, it drags the prey into the ocean.
7. It electrifies prey before eating.
8. Eelektross and its pre-evolved forms are the only Pokémon with no type weaknesses.
9. Eelektross and its pre-evolved forms may be based on electric eels, lampreys, and possibly leeches.
10. Its Electric typing may be an allusion to bioelectrogenesis.
11. Eelektross is a combination of eel, a corruption of electric, and possibly boss or gross.
12. Eelektross made its main series debut in Battle For The Underground!, under the ownership of Emmet. It was first seen super-charging a maintenance car that Emmet and Ingo were using to catch up to Team Rocket.
13. Eelektross was later used in a Tag Battle against Cilan and Ash in Lost at the Stamp Rally!, where it battled Tepig and Pansage alongside Ingo’s Chandelure, and won.
14. Eelektross reappeared in a fantasy in A Surface to Air Tag Battle Team!, and in a flashback in Survival of the Striaton Gym!.
15. An Eelektross appeared in Curtain Up, Unova League! and Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, under the ownership of Kendrick. It battled Cameron’s Ferrothorn and was defeated after its opponent launched a Pin Missile attack into its mouth.
16. An Eelektross appeared in XYS06. It was trapped in Lumiose City’s subway system and caused its trains to go haywire with Ion Deluge.
17. Eelektross debuted in White—Victini and Zekrom and Black—Victini and Reshiram.
18. One appeared in the opening sequence of the former movie.
19. An Eelektross briefly appeared in Strong Strategy Steals the Show!, under the ownership of Russet. It battled Manning’s Jellicent and won.
20. An Eelektross appeared in a fantasy in Clemont’s Got a Secret!.
