Zorua is a Dark type Pokemon introduced in Generation V. It evolves into Zoroark starting at level 30. Both it and Zoroark were the first Generation V Pokemon to be revealed to the public on February 10, 2010. Take a look below for 23 interesting and amazing facts about Zorua.

1. Zorua is a slate gray, fox like Pokemon with red and black accents.

2. Its ears are triangular with dark insides, and it has a large tuft of fur tipped with red on top of its head.

3. It has greenish blue eyes with red eyelids.

4. There are circular, red markings above the eyes that resemble eyebrows.

5. Its muzzle is short and tapered with two small fangs seen in the upper jaw when its mouth is open.

6. Zorua possesses a ruff of black fur around its neck and four short limbs tipped with red. Its tail is short and bushy.

7. Zorua can change its physical appearance, though this transformation is merely an illusion as it keeps its own type and moves.

8. Sometimes it will take the form of a silent child.

9. As seen in its movie debut, the tail of an unpracticed Zorua may remain when it takes on a human form, and if the tail is touched, it will revert to its true form.

18. Zorua debuted in Zoroark: Master of Illusions, where it was used by the antagonist, Grings Kodai, to blackmail its foster mother Zoroark into attacking Crown City. It escaped and met Ash and his friends before befriending Celebi. Zorua and Celebi were captured by Kodai, but they were able to defeat him with help from Zoroark and the three Shiny Legendary beasts serving as Crown City’s guardians.

19. Luke’s female Zorua debuted in Movie Time! Zorua in “The Legend of the Pokémon Knight”!, where she was used to play multiple roles in her Trainer’s films.

20. A Zorua appeared in a flashback in The Island of Illusions!, where it was taken care of by a Nurse Joy years ago. It was revealed to have evolved into a Zoroark in the present day.

21. A Trainer’s Zorua appeared in Exhibition Unmasked!.

22. A Zorua appeared in Castelia City where he fought Black’s Tep, teasing him throughout the entire battle before escaping. The same Zorua later appears to wreak havoc on the Driftveil Drawbridge. Later, it is revealed that this Zorua worked alongside N. He first appeared in Listening to Pokémon.
