23 Fun And Awesome Facts About Emolga From Pokemon

Emolga is a dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Take a look below for 23 fun and awesome facts about Emolga.

1. Emolga is a white, rodent like Pokemon resembling a flying squirrel.

2. It has black eyes, a tiny nose, and yellow cheek patches. 

3. It can create electricity on the electric sacs located on its cheeks and store electricity inside its membranes.

4. Its ears, positioned at the top of its head, are rounded in shape and black in coloration, with yellow and white sections of coloration in the inside of its ears.

5. It sports a vaguely hood-like patterning of black around its head, with a spiky extension of the pattern above its face.

6. It has yellow winglike flaps connected to its three-fingered arms.

7. Its feet are white and fairly small and its black tail is in a jagged shape.

8. Emolga lives in treetops, sometimes in holes gouged by Pikipek, and uses its flaps to glide from tree to tree.

9. It generates electricity in its cheeks, stores it in its membrane, and discharges it while gliding.

10. It does this in order to be able to scare off bird Pokémon, giving Emolga the capability to gather lots of food.

11. It then grills its food, being berries or bug Pokémon, with electric shocks to eat.

12. Emolga was first seen in an image on August 7, 2010.

13. Emolga is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 428.

14. Emolga appears to be based on the Japanese dwarf flying squirrel and possibly the feathertail glider.

15. Emolga is a corruption of Emonga.

16. Emolga debuted in Emolga the Irresistible!, when a female one was caught by Iris. She was manipulative, lazy, and gluttonous, though also good-hearted.

17. An Emolga appeared in Dazzling the Nimbasa Gym!, under the ownership of Elesa. It was the second Pokémon Elesa used in her Gym battle against Ash. It was able to defeat his Palpitoad and Snivy before losing to Pikachu.

18. Multiple Emolga appeared in a flashback in A Maractus Musical!.

19. A Trainer’s Emolga made a cameo appearance in Cilan Takes Flight!.

20. An Emolga appeared in Crisis at Ferroseed Research!.
